Join Cory Leick, artist and illustrator, for an 8-week workshop on creating an art journal using a variety of painting techniques. Registration required.
Artist and illustrator Cory Leick will lead an 8-week workshop on developing an art journaling practice for personal and creative exploration. Participants will experiment with various mixed media techniques, including drawing, painting, printing and collage, and will learn how to create their own simple handmade sketchbook journals. The finished art will be displayed at a final art show on May 27. Materials will be provided, and all levels of experience are welcomed. Provided in partnership with the Advancing Creative Aging Through State Library Leadership Initiative. Registration for the entire 8-week workshop is required.
