From Hawaiian nostalgia to jazz, enjoy the sounds of summer with Karen and Rick Maxson from Uke 66.
Karen and Rick Maxson of Uke 66 bring something for everyone as they perform swing and jazz from Route 66’s heyday, vintage and contemporary Hawaiian tunes and original songs. Along the way, they’ll share the ukulele’s story — including its surprising connection to Missouri.

Located on the corner of Brentwood Boulevard and Seminole Street, one block east of the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Seminole Street, the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, renovated in 2016, has served southeast Springfield since 1971.
