Experience the Arthur Duncan Jazz Trio as they perform and celebrate Black Ozarks musicians.
The jazz stylings of the Arthur Duncan Jazz Trio, which began decades ago in the Central High School cafeteria, continue a rich tradition of Black musicians shaping the Ozarks' musical history. Bandmates Arthur Duncan, Ernie Bedell, and Richard Allen will perform and reflect on the Black Ozarks musicians who paved the way while sharing their efforts to leave a lasting musical legacy for future generations. The Library Center is the headquarters of the Springfield-Greene County Library District. The 82,000-square-foot building houses major collections of print and electronic resources. These include special collections such as business and local history and genealogy; public Wi-Fi computers, four private study rooms, five small conference rooms, a kitchen and state-of-the-art reference technology. In addition, the Library Center includes other amenities characteristic of larger urban libraries. Those features include a 150-seat auditorium, a glass-enclosed reading room and art gallery, a story hour room, outdoor patio and outdoor story garden and the Between Friends Gift Shop.
