Sample the diversity of apple varieties through tasting and visual identification, learning to distinguish types by color, texture, aroma and flavor while exploring their uses in food, medicine and preservation throughout history. Also, create an apple variety field journal page or apple print card to take home. Registration starts September 5.

The Republic Branch Library opened in 1961 as a consolidation of book deposits held at several locations in this western Greene County city. The branch has relocated five times as use of the library continues to grow.
