Are you looking for a calm place to read or book recommendations from a librarian? Come to the Station for quiet reading time followed by an optional book discussion with peers. Participants are encouraged to bring their current read, wear their comfiest clothes and bring a blanket and book-related questions. Snacks and books will be provided.
The Library Station one of the "destination libraries" in the Springfield-Greene County Library District. The 36,000-square-foot facility houses a large collection of print and electronic resources. The Library Station includes other amenities characteristic of larger, urban libraries. Those features include several large and small meeting rooms, a large, comfortable reading room and a Panera Bread café.
