Are you a crafter looking to make a difference in our community? Learn how to create plastic sleeping mats for those in need. Join us for three sessions to get started on your mat-making journey. Materials will be provided.
Join the Mat Makers of Springfield as they kick off their 2025 goal of making and donating 100 mats in 100 days! We’ll sort bags, make plarn, weave and have a great time together.

Located on the corner of Brentwood Boulevard and Seminole Street, one block east of the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Seminole Street, the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, renovated in 2016, has served southeast Springfield since 1971. The branch, convenient to such popular shopping centers as the Plaza, Brentwood Center, Battlefield Mall and Primrose Marketplace, is popular with young and old alike.
