Help us send off the old Republic Branch Library with stories and activities for all ages.

Give a final cheer for the current Republic Branch Library on its last day with community and library staff! At 10:30 a.m., enjoy a special "See You Later, Alligator" storytime in the Children's Department. At 11:30 a.m., form a human chain to help move books to the new branch and leave a memory or message on the branch's walls. Refreshments will be provided by Nabholz Construction.

About the branch

The Republic Branch Library opened in 1961 as a consolidation of book deposits held at several locations in this western Greene County city. The branch has relocated five times as use of the library continues to grow.
