Discover the wonders of the night sky with an evening of stargazing and telescope exploration.
Spend an evening with the Springfield Astronomical Society learning the basics of telescope use and observing the night sky. Weather permitting, viewing will take place on the front lawn with a variety of telescopes. Rain or shine, bring your own telescope for hands-on tips and instruction on getting the most out of it.

Located on the corner of Brentwood Boulevard and Seminole Street, one block east of the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Seminole Street, the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, renovated in 2016, has served southeast Springfield since 1971. The branch, convenient to such popular shopping centers as the Plaza, Brentwood Center, Battlefield Mall and Primrose Marketplace, is popular with young and old alike.
