The Western Theater of the American Revolutionary War was the area of conflict west of the Appalachian Mountains that helped secure the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers from the control of Great Britain. Members of the Ozark Mountain Chapter of the American Revolution will explore one of the least-known stories of the war that created some unique footnotes to history.

Located on the corner of Brentwood Boulevard and Seminole Street, one block east of the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Seminole Street, the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, renovated in 2016, has served southeast Springfield since 1971.
