Ozarks Genealogical Society Vice President Jan Hinsey will explore how a 1930s family signature quilt helped break through a brick wall in her research on her second-great-grandmother, Minnie McGee, using signatures, newspaper articles, family histories and DNA matches. The Library Center is the headquarters of the Springfield-Greene County Library District. The 82,000-square-foot building houses major collections of print and electronic resources. These include special collections such as business and local history and genealogy; public Wi-Fi computers, four private study rooms, five small conference rooms, a kitchen and state-of-the-art reference technology. In addition, the Library Center includes other amenities characteristic of larger urban libraries.
